Looking for clues

I was on the Avaron 2 and I was with Varad, Jern and Arron.

We were called to the captain's quarters and we met the captain Rondeln, he is a kel dor and is Jern's uncle. He said that the ship had been sabotaged and the hyperdrive did not work. He told us to try to figure out what happened, he also told us that the crew was talking about a ghost story.

Varad and Arron went to talk to the crew while Jern and I went to fix the hyperdrive we met the chief engineer named Satchel. Jern and Satchel started to talk mechanical jiberish and I didn't know what they were saying.

We went to the hyperdrive and Jern figured out how to fix it. I found a piece of dark blue fabric, I examined it and figured out that it was fabric that was by a button. we went back to the others and told each other our discoveries.
