Striking acid GOLD!

We got a call from our favourite chevin, representative Monka, who told us that he was sending a team of archaeologist experts to explore our ruins. So we started toward our meeting point in our truck.

A while after we got to the meeting spot Monka's work speeder drove up. Out came Kentucky Jonas and Risk Nun'det. Risk had grenades strapped to his belt and looked dangerous; Jonas looked like a stereotypical explorer. We lowered ourselves down to where our power generator was and Jonas got to work. He said that to open this secret door we had to shine a light at the angle of the sun at the summer solstice at noon. Jern started to make a reflecting device that reroute the sunlight (since it's not solstice), but storm clouds were rolling in. He completed the device just in time - we angled the beam and the door opened! As we were debating whether we should go in or not, it started to downpour and we ran inside as the door shut behind us!

In the dark cavern I saw yellow veins in the walls. I thought to myself, “Could this be Gold?!” As I examined it closer I realized that it was a type of acid that was called fulsgold. It could dissolve almost anything. I put some in a sealed jar that wouldn't get dissolved by it. As we continued, acid was dripping down from the roof and had made giant holes in the ground. We all made it except Vreck - he fell into a soft spot and got his foot stuck. We formed a chain and pulled him out.

The next room we entered had a big gorge and no way across. We took turns throwing rocks across trying to find out how wide it was. Suddenly, two tentacles rose from below and attacked us. Jern got caught and fell, but Kentucky lashed out with his whip and caught Jern. Kentucky was straining to keep himself from falling, so a few of us held on to him and kept him safe. Vreck had the idea to sing the monster to sleep and turn out all the lights. As I sang a lullaby they turned off the lights and the monster fell asleep. Jern went down a ladder and after awhile he came up in an elevator-looking flying thing. Two by two we went across the gorge and on the other side we found a door. Risk started to unlock the door when the monster heard us! Arron and Vreck kept it at bay while we made it through the door.

Inside we saw members of the ECC. I got upset that they where on OUR land and went to go confront them! They tried lying to me, but I didn't buy it. We went into negotiations. When we decided on a good deal (which was giving us all the gold pieces, a small box and half of the artifacts), then mouse droids attacked with gas!

I woke up to see that everyone was unconscious except Vreck and a guy from the ECC. The mouse droids had attacked and Vreck had saved us all.

We said our goodbyes to Risk and Kentucky, and I set out to see how much our gold was worth.
