Conclusion of the issue with the stolen ship

Even though SoFA was seriously on trial today all I can think about is how that ship nearly failed to get us through a lightning storm. Ships don’t seem to be built to withstand the weather like they are back home. My uncle would never have stood for a ship that couldn’t take a couple of lightning bolts. I suppose Kel Dor does have more storms than most other planets, demanding more sturdier ship design, but this was ridiculous. Weather is dangerous indeed. I wonder if there’s anything I can do to increase the strain the ship can take. Or at least it’s durability against storms, or even some weather scanners. Because if we enter that kind of situation again on this planet we should be able to fly home in better shape than that. Anyways, I probably will have to spice up on my repair skills, because we got some community service ahead of our team.

We were accused and interrogated for the bounty hunter troubles that we had earlier. I was under the impression that they had been attacking us, but Varad apparently had exaggerated the danger that we were in. The interrogation also made me question how much I trusted my team. I haven’t ever really examined what I think of them. Perhaps it would be a good idea to get to know them a little better. It’s been 5 months and I still don’t know what Aaron is doing exactly, apart from the fact that he has a big gun. Speaking of which, that gun has a lot of space for some customizations I’ve been itching to try out… Varad seemed really cheerful, I am really glad he managed to get us out of that situation. It was really quite effective, some community service should do me good and hopefully it’ll help me to connect with some folks who can either provide me with some parts or use my abilities. My trusty tool kit has served me well but it might be time to properly prepare my workshop and buy some heavier tools and equipment. This goo-gun won’t cut it in a fight.

Anyways. It was good to touch base with mom and remind myself of the reason I came to this planet. I need to get my head in the game [ha]. I’ve got a job to do.
