The captain of Avaron II is an old friend of Ojib's - they have worked together in the past and Rondeln has gotten Ojib out of a few sticky situations. He is also the uncle of Jern Takuc, and is keeping an eye out for his young nephew.

He has asked the party to investigate the strange happenings aboard the Avaron II, and report back to him when they have discovered what is going on.

Vu has a bounty from a Hut

Captain Vu Rondeln was arrested on Corella for human trafficking. The rebellion somehow got a hold of Captain Vu and interrogated him. He said that SoFa had put him up to it.
