Season 3: Revolution

Over a year has passed since the heroes' return to Balmorra. Governor Varentari had urged the Resistance to remain quiet and hidden until the completion of the planetary shield generator, and to avoid the notice of the Imperial Occupation. He promised that as soon as it is operational, he will restore Baron Swift's estate, and issue Balmorran pardons to everyone, offering each a place in the government if you so choose. Via D'Gane is under intense scrutiny by the ISB, and has essentially maintained complete communication silence with the rebels to protect her cover, and the planet remains under martial law. A single slip-up could mean a sudden end to all plans for independence.

Alliance High Command agreed with the Governor's plan, and asked the Balmorran Resistance to gather intel about the Imperial War Crimes here for publication once the shield generator is up and the world can become a visible example of open rebellion against the Empire.

The Alliance has also smuggled in supplies to keep building up the base and to produce armaments, and fresh recruits have arrived throughout the past year to be trained by the experienced heroes.

But Imperial atrocities are getting worse, since the military is essentially in control of all policing and law. After the Rebel victory at Yavin IV, Emperor Palpatine has been replacing his least effective Moffs with more aggressive leaders, and the new sector governor, Moff Pugnus, has taken a direct interest in Balmorra and is expanding its military production rapidly. Unemployment has been reduced to zero.
