Good afternoon, Damaria.

I just found out that I am required to attend an Assembly/Imperial banquet to attend on the 4th (usually these events are optional, and I do my best to avoid the frivolous ones). This also means I am expected to bring a guest. I would be most honoured if you accompanied me - admittedly, with the recent events I think I need someone to back me up. With BF's possible "food poisoning"...

Oh, attire is formal, so I shall leave that at your discretion. I honestly do not know what kind of political effects occur if an Imperial Officer arrives at my side - fallout from media and allies, or perhaps confusion and concealment from my enemies? It is impossible to tell. In any case, I eagerly await your reply.

I'd be honored to attend as your guest - and the idea of having a backup seems quite prudent. As for attire, that won't be an issue; I'd lean more towards "night at the theatre" than "Imperial dress uniform". There may be some attending who'd recognize me anyhow, but I prefer not to flaunt my former allegiances in that kind of social setting; the ensuing conversations with otherwise-strangers can lean towards the tedious side.
