Mission 1 - Training Wheels

The warning klaxxon breaks you from your daydream. Incoming fighters! Wait, this is just a training exercise. You know it and you hope the humans assigned to your division knows it too. Your commanding officer, Gavid Corrik, had yelled at you until you finally got to escape into the tiny bubble suspended between two vertical wings. Your TIE fighter wasn't fancy, but it was the only thing between you and endless space.

Things seemed to be going somewhat OK until one of the others, the HUMAN others, took a shot at Major Gavid's ship, almost completely destroying it. Immediately the comms were awash with chatter blaming the stupidity of your non-humanness. Well, you never thought this was going to be easy.

Luckily Major Brenna, definitely NOT human, was present. In a very soft but very imperious voice she had managed to quiet the entire squad. Major Gavid was not doing well. He was in a coma. Nobody felt that sad about it either. Major Gavid was a major pain for you and for everyone else. It just didn't feel right being blamed for what was clearly not your fault.

Maybe you'll sleep with your blaster under your pillow tonight.
