Fuel Fight

Ethical issues abound as the colony has discovered native sentient species populating Erimia. Tenders went out for cleaning up the fuel spills, but both Ojib and Djinn Monka were sick and didn't notify SoFA. But the party has been busy with other plans…

* Obligation Roll: 92 - no trigger

Everyone was busy, working on the settlement and upgrading their facilities. They hired contractors to build a hangar near the port location, spent time tending to crops, developing and marketing flash fuel, and connecting with the Ak'ltch species.

There was suspicion that the ECC was taking shortcuts while cleaning up the fuel spills, so the party flew out with the JumpMaster 5000 to investigate. They found that the ECC was cleaning up oil, but also mining the coral to produce their own fuel supplies, and destroying the ecosystem, using amphibious ships (and noticed Jaleel on board the ECC ship).

Meanwhile, Vreck was investigating the damaged coal reefs in a different location with Sqltch, and they were attacked by a mysterious submarine with torpedoes and aquatic mouse droids. The others flew in to help, but another submarine joined the fray. They managed to rescue Vreck and Sqltch, and escaped the battle with the pirate? subs.
