Governor Varentari respects the team, and has offered to cover for them on Balmorra. It was unspoken, but obvious, that Varentari is in a position of power over the team, knowing most of their identities and their activities, and he has insinuated that he is giving them all a chance to “start over” - stop disrupting the Balmorran government itself, but we may be provided with opportunities to disrupt the ISB and Empire in the Balmorran sector. He expects to personally remain in Imperial favour until the planetary defenses are operational, and will be most displeased if this situation should change. The official report will be that the Rebel Alliance tried to assassinate Varentari, but he managed to repel them. Many loyal humanists and ISB agents died to defeat the Rebel scum.
The defense project will continue. The real Guid V'Rossum turned up on Zeltros; he was found in a daze in a spice parlour, not remembering anything from the past week, but is recovering well.
The Balmorran Resistance is able to set up the agricultural equipment to supply the base, and the hangar now contains The Last Call and 4 new B-Wings. The Hyperwave Communication equipment is also installed, allowing for reliable and instant communication with Alliance Sector Command and Rebel Intelligence. This is considered a Contact Network with a Scope of 5 and Expertise 3 for Knowledge (Warfare), (Underworld), and (Core Worlds), and perhaps other information that the Rebellion would likely know about.
Several new recruits, including pilots, are available for operations. These are potential new PC's for those interested in a second character.
Via D'Gane is now the chief ISB operative on Balmorra. She is still loosely connected to Tor's sister Manya (Aleena Del'Moor), but seems to now be working directly for Varentari. Then again, who knows what her real objectives and Motivations are?
